TNT Promotions brings back the 18th Annual 2009 “Supernationals”, stronger than ever this year to Expo New Mexico (former New Mexico State Fairgrounds) in the Lujan Complex, Albuquerque, February 6, 7, 8, 2009. This show has gained national attention with a variety of the nation's leading show cars, automotive manufacturers and suppliers participating along with top movie celebrities and the nations top custom automotive builders!

TNT Promotions Inc., will again work with several charitable organizations including, the Ronald McDonald House Charities in the development of donations. Stop by their booth and participate in the silent auction, all proceeds to the RMC House.

This years show will have a variety of Custom Cars, Street Rods, Motorcycles, Performance Cars & Trucks, 4X4's, and Restored Muscle cars on display coming in from 11 states. Many of the Nation’s finest vehicles will be competing for over $10000.00 in cash and awards. Last year, cars from New York, New Jersey, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Illinois, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Texas, Kansas, North Michigan and Colorado competed for the prestigious awards.




Route 66 Casino Hotel returns this year as the Title Sponsor and will be present at the show with a multitude of goodies to give away including the 2009 Route 66 Casino Hotel Car Show Calendar featuring award winning custom cars and the Route 66 Casino Hotel Girls. The calendar features the vehicles chosen at the August 2009 Calendar Show.

NAPA Auto Parts also returns this year as the co-presenting sponsor. They will have a major display with all the automotive products they distribute. Their booth will be staffed with experts to discuss all your automotive needs. Visit all Albuquerque area NAPA Auto Parts stores for advanced discount admission tickets in January.

Smith’s Ultimate Linings a long time sponsor of the show maintains the car show co-presenting sponsor position and will be present with an outstanding display featuring their spray on products. Randy Palmer from Huntington Beach Ca brings in the most talked about custom truck in the country “On Parol”, appears as the lead feature vehicle this year at the 2009 Supernationals. Randy Palmer’s supercharged custom 40 Ford Pickup is a force to be reckoned with at car shows! This wild truck sports a 800 Horsepower Blown Chevy Small Block. The interior features Red Corvette Leather, Dakota Digital gauges, air conditioning and a 1,500-watt sound system. The frenched headlights are Mercedes-Benz, doors and bed’s tonneau cover are power operated. The truck was chopped, and channeled, suicide doors with a low stance. The truck has garnered awards all over the country to include Best of Show at Seal Beach and honors at the Gooodguys Del Mar show, Platinum award at this years Pismo Beach Classic with over 2000 cars competing. There will be Hot Wheels racing for the kids all weekend (racing scheduled for Saturday 2-4pm and Sunday 12-2pm. Hot Wheels cars will be available at discounted prices and the proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Awards for winners of the races will be presented.

As seen in National Car Magazines see “Timeles” This 1937 Hudson Terra-Plane Pickup is one of the 16 known to exist. Dan and Mary Dowdy of Dolan Springs Arizona started this project in 2004 and it took 2 years to complete. Timeles is powered by a 10 Liter Arias Hemi with over 1500 Horsepower. That kind of power is unheard of in a show car, especially something as rare as this vehicle. The engine is one of 150 handbuilt by Nick Arias himself. The truck totally hand built has been touring the national show circuit for the last 2 years.

Straight from the show circuit this nationals Good Guys Champion is the 37 Ford Wagon owned by William George of our own Hernandez New Mexico. This custom built Street
Rod Sedan was designed by Bones Concepts in Hemet California The vehicle started off as a 37 5 window coupe and was made into a roadster at which time it was used as a mold for a fiberglass body. The grille is a 1935 and every corner and panel of the body was modified. The body is all steel. The engine is a Mustang 5.0 with a automatic and a ford 9” rearend. The interior is leather buckskin by Ron Mangus and the high powered stereo is by Kicker. Colorado Custom wheels were used with 4 wheel disc brakes. Mustang front end was used with air bags for that sik low look. The p is a special blend of orange from House of Kolor and was painted by Lopez enterprise in Hemet California. Ken Ginnings did the body work.

See Suicide Blonde as debuted at the 2006 SEMA show as the centerpiece of BASF corporation's display booth where it received rave reviews by all. This rod has also competed for some of the most prestigious awards in the streetrodding world. Suicide Blonde was selected as a finalist for GoodGuys 2007 Streetrod of the Year, Streetrodder Magazine Streetrod of the Year, Boyd Coddington's Pro Pick, numerous magazine editors choice awards, and was most recently picked as a finalist for GoodGuys America's Most Beautiful Streetrod and a Chip Foose Pro Pick. Suicide Blonde has been featured in numerous national & international automotive publications, and is currently touring the country as a feature car for many of America's premier auto shows. Fabrication started on the Wild Rod Factory body & Coast To Coast chassis at Killer Ridez in Seagoville Texas with numerous one off pieces being made for the car. From that point, fitment, body, paint was started by Brian & Tim Vastine. After all of the paint & body was done the car then moved to Stoked Out Specialties where allot of the wiring, audio, final assembly, and interior work was completed.

Straight from the Detroit Autorama see Mark Boxak’s, 67 GMC pickup. In High School Mark had the same model truck and said if he ever had the cash he would build another, with much more detail. Well he did just that. Dean Livermore and the guys at Hot Rods by Dean built the truck and Ron Hernandez striped the vehicle. Chassis and front end are Art Morrison with 2” dropped spindles and Shock Wave air ride. 4 Bar suspension in the rear, 9” Ford narrowed, with custom all polished Stainless Steel lines and clamps. Billet wheels with custom polished lug nut covers. Motor is a 385 GM motor with a completely smoothed block. The body is chopped 2” and has a custom-made taillight lenses to match the custom TriBar Headlights. Seat is custom made with gray leather from Italy. The custom made flooring in the cab matches the bed. Kip Kiper Interiors from Cave Creak Arizona completed the interior. Mark’s ride will be displayed in an outstanding 20 X 20 display where you can see the entire detail of this crazy ride.

From Nagoya Japan see "ROD"Riguez, 1930 Ford Sedan, owned by Chuck Schauwecker and was built in a hot rod shop called Paradise Road in Nagoya Japan by Junichi Shimodaira. With George Barris and Ed Roth as his idols this is his creation. The car as you see it, was completed in November 2003 and was the winner of the 2003 HRCS best of show, the Gene Winfield pick award, the Street Rodder pick award & the Herb Martinez pick award in Yokohama, Japan. This is a all steel car, the frame is Z'd and boxed front & rear. It has a Chevy 10 bolt Posi rear suspension with airbags. Front suspension is TCI dropped axle w/GM discs. '49 Olds rocket engine V8/303 slant pan hydro. Headers were custom built with rib outlets. The body is 4" wedge chopped, channeled 8", reshaped cowl with shaved vent, recessed firewall and radius-rod cutouts. Custom made '59 Cadillac bumper end grill. The head and taillights are '59 Caddy and '58 Chevy running lights. The interior is custom bucket seats with "Tijuana" style print cloth. Finally, the paint is a custom blend of Candy Copper w/ pin striping by Makoto. In January 2005, Junichi brought "ROD"Riguez to California from Japan. "Rod" has entered approx. 75 shows and has over 50 awards to his name. You can find "ROD" in numerous magazines, Internet sites and even on TV. When I am at a show, it doesn't matter, if it's a 5yr old little girl or a 85yr old man looking at the car. The first thing they do is get a big smile on their face.

See Randy “Dean” Arnold’s wildest Bubble Top car in the country “Thunder Flight” 1961 Ford Thunderbird. Extreme custom: channeled 2 “, shaved, custom fins, double bubbletop Builder– Dean Arnold, Color–Chrome Effects Paint Type– House of Kolor Painter– Dean Arnold Engine– chromed 302 V8 with red metalflake accents, Rear End– independent 1994 SHO Thunderbird Suspension Info– independent Brakes– custom red vinyl Upholstery–Dean Arnold Dashboard– cut column 6” & chopped steering wheel. This vehicle received a special presentation Barris Kustom plaque. The car will be competing for the $20,000 Best of Show award at the 45th Annual Darryl Starbird Hall of Fame National Championship Rod and Custom Show, February 20,21,22, 2009 in Tulsa, Ok, Quik Trip Center - Fairgrounds. There will be over 1000 Entries with the top cars in the nation competing to be among the "Fine Nine" with the one and only $20,000.00 "Go for the Gold" Cash award.

See “Lead Zephyr” , 1938 Zephyr, Dan Withers, Phoenix, AZ. This radically smoothed 1938 Lincoln Zephyr was to be the first car of Boyd Coddington's return to the industry and became known as the "Lead Zephyr" and is currently owned by Dan Withers of Phoenix. Dan was fortunate enough to be the successful bidder of the vehicle at a prestigious auction in California. Boyd began the build with a newly built Art Morrison Chassis. Once at the shop, Boyd's talented crew bolted up a Boyd Coddington front and rear independent suspension. To get the car on the ground an air suspension system was fabed in, necessary to get that slammed look the car required. To help bring everything to a stop Wilwood brakes were used, bolted to them are Boyd Coddington one-off wheels mounted on Goodyear tires. The heart of the Zephyr is a 500hp/430cid Ford backed by a A06 automatic transmission. Marcel and sons to shape a one-off body starting with nothing more than flat metal stock and a picture. With the newly formed body attached to its chassis the Zephyr was sprayed with Dupont Char-cool over Dupont Boyd Mellow Yellow. Completed almost 7 years ago, the "Lead Zephyr" is still one of the most recognized cars by Boyd Coddington as seen in dozens of national magazines.

This year’s show has many more features and will be jam packed with cars from around the nation.

The Brush Bash returns with many artists ready to lay down the paint on lots of different pieces of metal objects. The show and silent auction produced a donation of approximately $6,000.00. There will also be a Hot Wheels Race for all children sponsored by RMHC at the show.
